SMA Executive Vice President Brandon Farris on Monday told viewers of the Varney & Co. program on Fox Business that the section 232 tariff “is single most consequential thing” that government has done for steel industry in decades.

Farris’s appearance coincided with the launch of the SMA’s ‘Steel Strong’ campaign, a nationwide initiative to celebrate the strength of the American steel industry and the effectiveness of the administration’s steel trade policy.
