“Provisions like full expensing of research and development are critical to maintaining America’s competitive edge. The American steel industry is already the most modern and efficient in the world, driven by a relentless commitment to innovation. By allowing full R&D expensing, these tax cuts empower steelmakers to invest even more in advanced technologies, further increasing efficiency and strengthening our position in the global marketplace.

“Eliminating taxes on overtime has delivered meaningful benefits for the men and women who make steel. The extra hours these workers put in are essential to meeting demand and strengthening America’s national security. Now, those extra hours translate into bigger paychecks and greater financial security for them and their families.
